Travel Information
- Chicago is served by O’Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) international airports, both linked to the city by the CTA ‘L’ train.

Local Hotels
There is no ‘official’ IWOCL conference hotel. UIC lists nearby hotels offering UIC rates, including:

Travel VISAs and Invitation Letters
- Check with your local visa office to determine what is required for travel to the USA. Please do this in plenty of time as the application process can take several weeks.
If you require an invitation letter from the organisers, please follow the guidelines below:
- Make your IWOCL booking.* (this will be cancellable if your VISA application is refused)
- Please use our Contact Form to request an IWOCL Invitation Letter.
- Please include your IWOCL booking number and all the information that your local visa office requires to be included in the invitation letter.
* We receive a large number of spam requests for invitation letters and so can only issue letters to delegates with a confirmed registration. If you are refused a visa please cancel your IWOCL registration at least 14-days before the event so that we can issue a full refund.
